Approach
-
“When it comes to therapy, I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. You are unique, your goals and needs are unique, and your therapy should be too.
My approach to therapy is integrative and flexible so that I can tailor treatment to best meet your individual needs. An essential part of this is meeting you where you are. Whether you are exploring therapy for the first time, or have had many experiences with it, I am here to help with whatever feels most pressing to you at this time.
My style is relational and warm, with humor intertwined throughout. I believe trust between therapist and client is vital to treatment success. As such, I take time to get to know each client, build rapport, and develop authentic, genuine, therapeutic relationships, attending to identity saliencies and intersectionality both inside and outside of the therapy space. I specialize in working with complex trauma, as well as anxiety and depression, where trust and functioning within relationships can be particularly difficult. My role is to help you move through and overcome these challenges.
I look forward to connecting with you!”
